Welcome to the new Conservation Assistant Volunteers
A big welcome to Holley, John, Hazel and Jess who have joined Tim, an existing volunteer, to start learning the ropes of collection care and collection management.
This team will be volunteering every third weekend, starting at 8.00am. On their first day they learned the basics of conservation cleaning and then had a go at doing inventory spot checks. Tim and John made great progress with organising a big box of dusty photographs that have been under the desk in the house office for many years.
The team will be following the contents of the Passport to your Future programme, picking out the bits that interest them the most.

House team trip to Arlington ( Lin, Margret, Bridget and Amelia)

The house team had a lovely day visiting Robin and Katie.
Katie gave us a very intresting and informative tour of the Carriage museum, and Robin gave a very enthusiastic and informative insight into the house.
Both are doing very well in their new roles and say hello to all the volunteers at Dyrham Park.
We also would like to wish Katie all the best in her new venture studying Entomology.
